This well reputable Commercial client of ours is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Your new role
The Finance, Commercial & Legal team is responsible for the integrity of the financial system. Staff will respect others, co-operate and assist whenever possible in order to pursue the aims of the Business Plan. Above all, they will enjoy their part in the team and the organisation.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
1. Responsible for all accounting requirements of the group and its associated entities including, but not limited to:
• Monthly management financial reports.
• Analysis of financial and other data.
• Monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet items.
• Preparation of monthly BAS's for SF and SMRF.
• Preparation of the annual budget and other forecasts.
• Review coding of AP invoices and authorisation of payment batches.
• Review monthly bank reconciliations.
2. Manage cash flow requirements and facilitate investment documentation for SF and SMRF.
3. Critically review, analyse, and provide advice on all current and proposed investments as required. Ensure compliance with investment policies.
4. Confidently lead discussions in the investment committee. Prepare agenda, respond to action items and review meeting minutes.
5. Year-end financial reporting requirements including preparation of financial statements, submission of annual returns with ACNC and liaison with the auditors as required.

What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 Years' experience and CA / CPA qualified required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Software The Senior Accountant is required to be proficient in all aspects of the following software programs:
- Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and 0utlook.
- Current Financial Operating System.
