Our team has a number of key responsibilities to support our advisors service model and growth through marketing and communications in a fun and flexible environment. The role of the Sales Supervision Manager - Social Media will be focused on reviewing and signing off on social media content on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter as well as advisor text messages.
To be successful in this role, you will provide advisors with feedback and coaching on these platforms. In addition, the Sales Supervision Manager - Social Media will be aware of trends in the industry and for particular advisors to educate leaders and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve advisor social media and text message activity. This will be reviewed from a brand and compliance perspective to ensure they are accurate and not misleading.
• Consult with advisors to support them in aligning their materials with brand and company policies.
• Interact with Marketing, Compliance, Brand, Legal and other business partners on complex advisor activity and trends.
• Occasionally this position will also be required to serve as a subject matter expert in meetings with business partners as well as field leaders.
• The candidate will be expected to effectively handle escalated and sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5 -7 years minimum relevant work experience.
• Problem solving and analytical skills; ability to effectively analyze complex issues.
• Ability to consistently exercise good judgment when making decisions on complex matters that don't have clear answers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to deliver unfavorable messages.
• Ability to consistently influence positive behavior through coaching and education.
• Ability to document activity in a fact-based and comprehensive manner.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently both individually and in a team environment.
Additional active licenses or the ability to obtain the following:
  • Active Series 7 required.
  • Active Series 24 and 63 - or the ability to obtain as follows:
    • These exam licenses, if not actively held, need to be passed within 120 days of start date. If multiple exams are required, they can be done consecutively, and an additional 90-day window will be added after successfully passing each exam.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategy
  • Experience with sales/supervision of brokerage and investment advisory products.
