We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Test Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

• Senior Test Manager is an important role to provide UAT test management within Insurance Transformation for leading and overseeing a wide spectrum of project testing activities to fulfil Hong Kong insurance business strategy. The role is to lead the formation of Testing Centre of Excellence (CoE) to conduct UAT activities via onshore/offshore resources and responsible to define and enforce the UAT test governance and discipline be applied to a large portfolio of insurance change projects about Product, Distribution and Compliance & Risk, and will be providing testing expertise and consultancy to insurance project teams
• The role holder is to provide the process, procedure, and templates that support effective test design/testing. These include processes and procedures to support the test governance, define test strategy, support test case design/ensure test coverage, review test case construction/execution, and streamline UAT test activity under Agile development methodology by applying test automation to ensure product/service are properly tested. It will lead to the design and implementation of appropriate testing framework, measurement and metrics, grow the team knowledge in the application of testing tools/process to meet the testing mandate

Requirements

• Proven experience working as Test Manage role on managing transformational changes
• Minimum 10 - 15 years in managing and leading a testing team (high cost and low cost) with end to end testing for large scale and major projects in both manual and automation testing
• Good insurance and banking domain knowledge
• Familiar with test program concern including test-data management, testing policy/governance/traceability, risk and issue reporting, test plan design and development
• Experience in project and testing tools like Quality Centre, JIRA, Confluence and Tosca automation tool, both in Agile and Waterfall delivery environment
• Good knowledge of testing life cycle and proficient in enforcing the adoption of test tools
• Experience in working with diverse teams of different workstreams and able to make steer to improve the test process
• Should have good interpersonal and consultancy skill together with good written & verbal communication skill
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders based on a good understanding of their business objectives and the services they require to meet those objectives through high quality of test services
