My client is an iconic investment platform that boasts a genuinely global reach and access to large scale capital that is supported by deep operational expertise. Their investment track record is second to none, with their most recent fund for this strategy (~$3.5 billion) performing well beyond expectations, meaning continued conviction and more capital/resources to be committed towards this strategy globally. The APAC region is seen as a priority for my client, and they are now in a position to hire an Analyst/Associate to help drive their Special Situations mandate regionally.

The individual in this role will work closely with the senior investment team locally and abroad to execute a flexible and creative investment mandate that invests across a wide range of asset classes, industries and capital structure. The role's key focus will be to develop investment strategies, evaluate new investment opportunities and provide the analysis, modelling and due diligence required to execute investments successfully.

To be successful you will have likely gained ~2-5 years' experience in a transactional environment in any one of the following areas; investment banking, buy side investing (special situations/private equity) and leveraged or structured finance. You will display an ability to work with analytical rigour, a naturally curious/critical mind and the ability to apply a deep commercial acumen to your technical and transactional work whilst also displaying exceptional communication skills.

Applicants must have full working rights in place for Australia to be considered for this opportunity.
