Asset Servicing powers the investment process for clients. Asset Servicing clients are some of the world's largest and most sophisticated asset managers and asset owners, including banks, corporations, mutual funds, sovereign wealth funds and pensions.

The Digital organization sets the direction for BNY Mellon's digital future and drives investments in our digital capabilities, including data management, analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics.

In 2020, Digital was combined with Asset Servicing to accelerate the business' digital and data transformation, and to ensure it is future ready and positioned to support clients' changing priorities and needs.

Team & Role Responsibilities:

Business Development Support - Leads activities related to Business Development support, including research and lead generation, presentation support and development, designing complex deal strategy and managing deal execution. Contributes to development of marketing materials and supports deal strategy with pricing and profitability modeling, benchmarking, deal team formation and preparation for key presentations. Manages the pipeline database and team communication around pipeline. Takes lead on the largest, most complex projects, analyses and proposals that are critical to the organization. Coordinates with internal business units to research and gather information necessary to engage with sales targets appropriately and the formation of go-to-market strategy. This is a client-facing role, and the successful candidate will attend sales presentations, work directly with clients and internal clients and be responsible for coordinating timely follow-up from critical sales presentations and be the first contact for select inbound sales leads. No direct reports but the skills to lead indirectly and influence internal and external clients is critical.

The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience in sales preferred.
