What will you be doing?

• On behalf of a global financial services organization, develop, create, and modify general computer applications software and specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• Responsible for enhancing automation testing framework using technologies such as Java, Spring, SOAP/REST web services, and various databases.
• Build Proof of Concepts for applications to reduce internal Quality Engineer work effort.
• Create and maintain daily automated test suites running in Jenkin space.
• Responsible for resolving technical issues from functional and technical perspective.
• Triage issues related to network layer, load balancer layer, and application layer by working with multiple teams.
• Work with multiple Software Engineer in Test (SET's) during migration projects, lead automation across applications, and resolve impediments.
• Create and execute tests using Approved Automation/Functional/Performance Test tools as applicable.
• Review test planning and execution for continuous improvement in quality and efficiency for deliverables.
• Design software and customize software with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
• Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually and coordinating database development as part of a team.
• Ensure overall process adherence on organization wide guidelines for delivery, operations, and quality.

What we're looking for:

Requires a Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or related position. Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Developing web applications and using object oriented programming languages including Java; Working with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle, SOAP, REST, automation frameworks including Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, and Seetest; Building and deploying pipelines for automation initiatives using Jenkins configuration, writing chef recipes, and roles integration timely manner automation script execution, source code management using Git and Dependency Management Maven; Automating mobile scenarios to execute in cloud mobile devices; Implementing and maintaining quality engineer status dashboard UI; Triaging issues in lower environments related to load balancer issues and network proxy issues; Network security; and Front end Technologies including React, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and NodeJs.
