Mission
At Tikehau Capital, ESG is an essential element in the decision-making process, embedded in the fundamental analysis of our investment teams. It is also a progressive approach, and we need to add more strength to the ESG team. This position is a real opportunity to be part of a growing alternative asset manager and provide practical solutions to our Real Estate teams.
Tikehau Capital is currently looking for an ESG Real Estate analyst. Reporting to the group Head of ESG for Real Estate, you will participate in the operational implementation of the ESG approach in the real estate subsidiaries of the company.
The missions focusing on ESG and Real Estate will consist in particular of :
• Support Real Estate teams in the operational implementation of ESG roadmaps: creation of tools, implementation of processes, training, etc.
• Implement and follow action plans aimed at continuous improvement of ESG practices within the group's funds and Real Estate assets: consumption reduction, building certifications, ESG approach with tenants and service providers, etc.
• Monitor the SRI labelling of funds, and more generally oversee the implementation of the ESG management frameworks defined by the company.
• Coordinate extra-financial Real Estate reporting and contribute to regulatory publications (annual fund reports, annual report, sustainable development report, etc.).
• Connect with investors on the ESG aspects of funds: participate in marketing meetings, respond to ESG questionnaires requested by investors.
• Carry out an in-depth regulatory watch (SFDR, Taxonomy, etc.), a competitive watch and participate in sectorial working groups.

The missions focusing on ESG at group level will consist in particular of :
• Participate in the implementation of group ESG projects, in particular on biodiversity and climate issues.
• Work closely with investment teams and coordinate with various stakeholders (rating agencies, certification body, external ESG auditors) to produce ESG reportings
• Prepare responses / application files for ESG ratings / labels
• Assist the Group head of ESG in ad hoc missions

Profile
• Initially based in Paris (a move to another Tikehau European office may be possible in a second stage)
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
• Undergraduate degree in sustainability management, real estate, climate policy, public policy or a related-environmental, social or engineering disciplines
• Minimum experience of 3 years in the sustainable real estate sector, in a company, consulting firm or financial institution
• Strong interest in ESG subjects and sustainable development issues.
• Strong data analytics skills to apply to sustainability / ESG problem solving and detail oriented
• Team spirit, autonomy, rigor, ability to manage priorities and creative mindset
• Proficiency in MS Office.
