About this role
Veterans Transition Program
We recognise that veterans bring a unique and valued perspective to BlackRock thanks to their extraordinary backgrounds and experiences. The Veterans Transition Program is designed to support veterans in making the transition from military life to the civilian workforce. The Program offers participants the opportunity to work at the world's largest asset manager for six months. On completion of the Program, successful participants will be offered permanent employment at BlackRock.

Program Structure:
The program begins with an orientation where you'll learn about BlackRock's principles, mission, purpose and culture. You'll learn about the asset management industry and get an in-depth look at how BlackRock serves its clients. Following orientation, you'll join your team and gain insights into the day-to-day life of an Associate as you develop subject-matter expertise through on-the-job learning and our industry-leading technology, Aladdin.
Where do I fit?
Shortly after submitting your application on-line, you'll be sent a questionnaire asking you to indicate your career preferences. You'll be able to choose from the following business areas/functions:
ETF & Index Investing
BlackRock is the largest exchange traded fund (ETF) and index investments provider. The team develops, analyzes, and manages ETFs and Index Investments that track most major indices, providing clients with access to markets around the world.
Finance
Finance professionals deliver timely, accurate and insightful financial information and analysis. The group provides thought leadership across BlackRock's control and risk management environment to improve decision making, optimize allocation of firm resources and help achieve the firm's objectives.
Global Product Group
The Global Product Group brings innovation, discipline, and focus to BlackRock's investment product line by aligning client and investment teams in the design and execution of product-related initiatives.
Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions
BlackRock's Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) business is the investment group at the heart of BlackRock's portfolio construction, asset allocation, and active management ecosystem.
Retirement
T he Retirement Group is on the frontlines of America's retirement crisis, leveraging BlackRock's unique capabilities to make it easier for people to save through their employers' workplace savings plan.
Wealth Advisory
Retail & Wealth Advisory is a broad-based B2B platform that delivers products and services through distribution partners, such as financial advisors, private bankers, insurers, RIAs and direct platforms.

- Minimum of two years of Active Uniformed service
- Must be able to commence employment in August 2022
- Bachelor's degree obtained pre or post-military service
- Open to all US veterans, regardless to rank
