The Role: Senior Financial Analyst
Grade/Level: 11 (relevant for internal applicants only)

The Impact:
The role is part of the Technology Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team directly supporting the Digital Technology Services (DTS) and Technology Strategy & Governance (TSG) organizations. This newly created role will be responsible for cross-functional support of the DTS & TSG teams, assisting with cost optimization exercises, financial data management, consolidations, and executive-level communication.

This is a growth opportunity allowing the resource to work closely with senior leadership in Finance, HR, and Technology. The resource will be a pivotal contributor to the success of the Technology FP&A organization, ensuring a consistent total function view and aiding in the operationalization of short-term and long-term strategic plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides financial analysis to the business and contributes to the optimization of Technology expenses in collaboration with Technology and Finance leadership
  • Participates in the monthly forecasting (Estimate) and annual budgeting process for DTS & TSG, working closely with technologists and the Technology FP&A team to analyze and develop financial projections/risks & opportunities
  • Manage the preparation and review of estimate consolidations and variance commentary for senior management
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive and transparent financial model of cost optimization achievement
  • Assist with strategic investments, ad hoc requests, special projects, and provide direct support to the Head of Technology FP&A on an as-needed basis
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 3 or more years of financial analysis and accounting experience
  • Experience supporting Technology and Data organizations
  • Strong skills in MS Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookups) and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CPM tools such as Anaplan and Oracle Fusion ERP preferred
  • Sound knowledge of financial techniques for planning, forecasting, and related analyses.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure/tight deadlines, and as a fully contributing member of a team
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $67,600 to $140,400. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
