We are working closely with a well-recognised leader in the Australian agricultural industry. The company is backed by one of the largest Canadian Pension Funds.
The team is seeking an Associate who will be based in Sydney, Australia. You will have responsibility for M&A (investment analysis & transactions), Asset Management (actively managing investments) and be actively involved with any strategic projects that arise (e.g. diversification, vertical integration, acquisition integrations etc). You will maintain a strong connection with the global team, acting as a conduit to maximize efficiencies, economies of scale and knowledge sharing throughout the Group's investments.
We are looking for someone with a strong academic background with between 3 - 6 years of experience in Big 4 M&A/transaction/valuation teams, investment banking, strategy consulting or private investing. You will have a knowledge of and interest in the agriculture sector, excellent financial and analytical skills and strong communication and presentation skills.
