Job Description

The Campus Recruiting team is a fast paced, rapidly-evolving team that is working to position BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager with $10 trillion in assets under management, as an employer of choice among university graduates in the US and around the world. The Campus Recruiting team endeavors to find the next generation of leaders and help them launch careers with BlackRock.

BlackRock's Americas Campus Recruiting team is seeking an Analyst or Associate Recruiter responsible for attracting the best analyst and summer analyst level talent from colleges and universities, building and strengthening relationships with internal and external clients, and serving as a talent scout for the firm.

The team's objective is to source and deliver exceptional entry level talent to the firm across a broad spectrum of roles, including investments, client businesses, analytics, technology, and others. This is accomplished by developing close relationships with business stakeholders; using BlackRock's marketing capabilities to craft and deploy effective digital recruiting campaigns; utilizing technology partners to the fullest extent to connect with candidates; and collaborating within BlackRock - from Marketing to Operations - to ensure an outstanding candidate experience.

The Role
The Recruiter will be part of a small team reporting to the US Head of Campus Recruiting. This person is expected to execute the US campus hiring strategy while building and maintaining strong internal relationships with key business stakeholders and senior leaders. The recruiter will be responsible for the end-to-end talent attraction and recruitment process for their designated portfolio of businesses.

Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Partnership with business leaders and stakeholders to ensure a close and collaborative relationship between Recruiting and Hiring Teams
  • Customizing marketing and sourcing strategies across our portfolio of partners
  • Develop strategies to bolster outreach to a variety of diverse candidate populations
  • Delivering a differentiated candidate experience from discovery to onboarding
  • Leveraging data to implement tactics aligned with our hiring strategy
  • Designing, planning, and executing an immersive Summer Analyst experience; as well as events tailored to specific candidate populations, virtually and/or in-person

To accomplish the above, the recruiter will liaise with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team, Marketing team, and the broader Talent Acquisition organization at BlackRock. The recruiter will be supported by a highly collaborative work culture, partnering closely with senior business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Campus Recruiting colleagues globally as well. The Recruiter successful in this role thrives in a fast-paced environment, is attentive to detailed business processes, and is a creative, innovative thinker with strong communication skills. The team is seeking a teammate who will be able to strengthen the BlackRock brand and be a culture carrier for the firm.

Travel Note :
Once a safe return to the office environment is established, the role will be based in either Atlanta, New York, Princeton, San Francisco or Wilmington. This role will also have a travel expectation for external events, approximately 10-20% of the time.
