This is a fantastic opportunity to join Santander London Branch at a time of exciting growth and development.

We are seeking a Credit Risk Manager who will report directly to the Head of Financial Institutions within Credit Risk, who will have responsibility for Banks and Intra-Group entities.

This role will have Close ongoing liaison with other risk centres (i.a. Madrid, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Latin American offices).

The difference you'll make.

  • Analysing, rating and monitoring of UK banks and building societies including oversight of SLB credit limit appetite and monitoring.

  • Undertaking risk analysis and ratings for UK banks and building societies.

  • Handling negotiations of credit terms contained in ISDA/CSA, GMRA and GMSLA documentation.

  • Recommending and helping to define local risk appetite for the portfolio.


What you'll bring.

  • Experience in undertaking financial and qualitative credit analysis of banks.

  • Ability to analyse and proactively manage limit and transaction requests.


It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Broad all round credit knowledge of UK banks and building societies.

  • Track record of delivering assigned activities within the prescribed timeframes and quality, supporting delivery of KPIs

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence at all levels

This role is currently office based in Triton Square, London with the flexibility of a hybrid way of working.
