Financial Analyst

Fantastic opportunitiy for an experienced Financial Analyst to contribute to the delivery of financial and business performance analytics and reporting across a well-known government corporation.

About the Role:

• Manage financial planning and analysis activities including the development of consolidated financial plans, budgets and forecasts for revenue, opex and capex across the organisation and business groups.
• Develop recommendations on how to apply insights to drive business performance; use analytics to influence
  trends and improve assumptions underpinning long term business planning
• Gather financial and non-financial data to act as the starting point for the investment evaluation process
• Effectively utilise costing model framework, cost allocation rules and methodologies and governance arrangements in day to day activities supporting business operations
• Develop summaries and workpapers and effectively manage reporting systems
• Deliver financial data and analysis for business cases and support the identification and measurement of benefits

About You:

• 7+ years of experience working in finance in a large complex organisation
• Preferably with government or public sector experience
• Demonstrated experience in financial/commercial analysis, modelling and reporting
