Head of Investor Relations (FinTech)

Our client, a high growth Fintech company with a strong presence in Asia, is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to join their rapidly growing team. You will be working in a fast-paced and innovative environment where you will play a key role in delivering successful fundraising of the company from strategic and financial investors to support the company's growth ahead of the related market developments. As a key member in implementing the company's vision while having direct exposure to the CEO, you will be working closely with the firm's leadership to communicate its strategy and financial results to investors.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of all aspects of fundraising and investor relation matters, and forge and maintain a strong relationship with existing and potential investors to ensure consistent communication and understanding of investor preferences
• Help develop and implement a proactive investor relations strategy and program, ensuring that the company's business strategy and progress is understood by the investment community
• Plan future capital raises and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare key messages and presentations to communicate progress and performance to key internal and external stakeholders
• Support development of the Investor Relations team through owning core initiatives, including website management, ownership and targeting analyses, valuation analysis etc.
• Develop presentation slideshows for investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and board meetings
• Collaborate with senior management to evaluate potential acquisitions and partnerships aligned with corporate strategies
• Conduct rigorous analysis to provide detailed guidance and insight regarding potential acquisitions
• Manage each deal as a critical project to ensure the timely completion of valuations, diligence and integration planning
• Lead due diligence for acquisitions and coordinate cross-functional evaluation of the target business performance and integration planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree holder in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, or private equity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts, ideas and processes with the presence, maturity, and credibility necessary to present effectively to sophisticated investors and colleagues
• Impeccable interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated success in leading strategic initiatives including having successfully helped to develop and implement projects and strategies that have delivered results
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
