Position Description:

At PIMCO, we focus on developing robust talent development practices that align with the professional development needs of our employees and business strategies. In this role, the Talent Development Associate will work within the Talent Development team to support a holistic Talent and Performance Management cycle throughout the employee lifecycle. This includes delivery of processes such as goal setting, talent reviews, mid-year and year-end performance, promotion, learning and succession planning.

In this role you will work closely with the Talent Development partners, and various HR and business stakeholders, to ensure the delivery and exceptional execution of a fully integrated talent development strategy that facilitates the opportunity for our employees to perform, learn, lead and handle effectively.

This role reports to the Talent Development Delivery Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as functional Talent & Performance super user to manage and deliver processes supporting the annual Talent Cycle. Responsibilities include:
  • Configure & update process templates
  • Test & launch business processes; continuously and proactively evaluate and implement efficiencies and process improvements
  • Deliver system demonstrations to HR and Business partners to support business understanding and adoption; understand key stakeholder nuances and provide flexible solutions
  • Partner with Workday HR team to deliver functional enhancements and test new functionality
  • Manage on demand and live training content and logistics
  • Create and send firm wide process communications; tailor communications to the audience
  • Track completion and provide status updates to HR and business partners
  • Maintain and update user guides, intranet pages and system announcements


Contribute to the Talent Development team's management of programming, inquiries and day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Support additional and/or new Talent Development systems including Workday Learning
  • Measure and report on impact and effectiveness through return on investment metrics, KPIs and data analytics
  • Support Talent Development commitment to continue refining processes and programs with Inclusion & Diversity considerations as a critical component
  • Proactively and accurately respond to inbound communications and requests to the Talent Development Team's general email mailbox and Service Now tickets
  • Maintain and ensure content is up-to-date and new content is added to various department platforms (e.g. intranet site, training catalog, learning management system)


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3+ years of HR experience
  • Working knowledge of talent tools. Experience with PeopleSoft, Success Factors, ADP, Oracle helpful. Workday experience a strong plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and has immaculate follow up, and strong organizational skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team; intuitive, quick learner - willing and able to handle steep learning curve
  • Thoughtful and demonstrates good judgment and strong decision-making skills; ethical
  • Ability to prioritize; work on and complete multiple projects simultaneously
  • Has strong ability to handle confidential information professionally with discretion and maturity
  • Open to embrace new HR technologies and changing processes
  • Proactive, results driven, open to feedback and overall a collaborative teammate
