Intraday Power Trader

Redstone Commodity Search are working with a leading trading firm based in Switzerland looking to hire an Intraday Power Trader to join the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Join an established and performing intraday power desk whilst still establishing and maintaining strong relationships with relevant participants.
• Trade on the intraday power market within the relevant locations - CWE, CEE, CZ and UK/Ireland. Experience on DK and PL is a bonus.
• Develop a profitable power trading portfolio and participate in a rotational shift, excluding nights.
• Conduct detailed market research analysis to generate consistently positive P&L figures.
• Add value to a firm where your voice is heard and you have an impact!

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Have 2-4 years' experience trading in a proprietary firm.
• Skills using VBA, SQL, Python etc. would be beneficial.
• Proven track record of delivering profitable results in the energy / power trading market - CWE, CEE, CZ, UK, Ireland, DK and PL.
• Creative thinker with the ability to work independently and cohesively with other departments.
• Located in Southern Switzerland.
