AVP Credit Risk, Global Investment Bank

Overview

With a growing platform steady growth in the region, this global investment bank is seeking to hire a AVP Credit Risk, Investment Banking to manage credit risk exposures for North Asia portfolio covering both corporates and financial institutions.

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing credit risk and client exposures within North Asia portfolio covering Corporate and Financial Institutions counterparties across the range of Corporate and Investment Banking products, including syndicated and leveraged lending facilities, securities financing and derivatives.
• Maintain the credit risk integrity of the portfolio through quality analysis of prospective exposure and proactive monitoring.
• Engage in assessing credit proposals, conducting due diligence, preparing credit analysis reports, identifying risks, presenting and recommending credit proposals to senior management/sanctioners.
• Work with first line of defence and business to drive a balance between risk and reward while maintaining credit risk integrity of the bank.

Requirements

• University graduate in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or related disciplines;
• 3-5 years' solid credit experience in large corporate and investment banking platforms;
• CFA / FRM / CPA qualification is a an advantage to the role.
• Well versed in English and Chinese (fluent Mandarin speaker essential).
• Basic understanding of investment banking products & respective legal documentation (including loans & derivative products) applicable to Greater China and North Asian Corporates and FIs.
