Senior Specialist, User Experience - UX Writer

Pershing X is a new start-up unit to incubate, engineer and deliver breakthrough solutions that will transform the advisory market. Pershing X will deliver the industry's leading end-to-end advisory platform, helping financial service firms solve the challenge of managing multiple and disconnected technology tools and data sets for their advisors and fueling our clients' business growth. We are a collaborative and fast-growing team working on exciting and innovative digital product offerings.

We are looking for a UX Writer to lead all content development for Pershing X, a new advisory startup within BNY Mellon | Pershing. This role performs and provides guidance and technical expertise for the creation and management of all structural, navigational and product content for our next generation advisory platform. Performs and contributes to research, usability testing, surveys, interviews, work studies, and heuristic evaluations. Reviews documentation of research findings presented to product and development teams. Actively participates and may provide guidance in the creation of concepts, information architecture, user interface designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications to improve work quality and meet content and copy guidelines. Leads the implementation of all content including cross application style guides, copy decks by product specifications with the UX and product team. This role will also develop and advocate for an integrated UX writing process across the firm and facilities training for groups inside and outside the UX team. Ensures that the developed/revised product achieves the user's specified goals by establishing language standardization that is guided by user's expectations, brand voice and common industry experience.

Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred, 8-10 years of experience required , experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus..
