We have an excellent 12 month contract opportunity for a Developer with a background in financial services to join Macquarie's Financial Management Group as part of the EMEA Project and Change team. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in business analysis and project delivery within an Agile project framework, with emphasis on platforms and understanding system integration across multiple systems. The successful candidate must be confident working across various business groups and functional teams, within capital and liquidity reporting change projects.

We have an excellent 12 month contract opportunity for a Developer with a background in financial services to join Macquarie's Financial Management Group as part of the EMEA Project and Change team. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in business analysis and project delivery within an Agile project framework, with emphasis on platforms and understanding system integration across multiple systems. The successful candidate must be confident working across various business groups and functional teams, within capital and liquidity reporting change projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop software products in line with FMG automation book of work.
- Translate business requirements into specifications to deliver automation solutions using RPA, NLG/NLP, AI, ML, Alteryx and Power BI solutions across different finance functions.
- Participate in business analysis activities to gather requirements.
- Provide technical assistance and cross training to team members and business teams.
- Managing the post production support for automated assets.
- Responsible for the data validation process including management of change requests, updates to rule logic and release management.
- Provide user testing support and results analysis for both ongoing automation programs and scheduled automation asset releases.
- Unit testing components to ensure deliverables meet acceptable quality metrics.
- Help Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance existing automated assets.
- Acting as bridge between IT and Business and ensuring IT deliverables reflect business needs.
- Responsible for defining & maintaining efficient communication procedure with senior management and Technology teams and Business Stakeholders.
About you
You will have experience working on projects in the financial services industry. You will also have:
- 3+ years of experience with automated data acquisition, preparation and blending using RPA, Alteryx or other similar tools
- Technical expertise in designing and delivering software using Python R and other NLG, NLP and AI tools.
- Strong abilities designing and developing visualization solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Good understanding of data architecture principles, including data access patterns and data modelling
- Process optimization experience and a strong understanding of best practices for implementing automation solutions
- Hands-on experience in developing macros or automation tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
