Regulatory & Financial Reporting Specialist - Global Hedge Fund - Competitive Salary + Bonus + Full

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the wider regulatory reporting statutory requirements
Stress test the financial position of the Firm under different scenarios
Identify any control gaps in the end-to-end regulatory reporting process within Finance
Produce regulatory metrics
Implement strategy and delivery of assurance with regards to sourcing and transforming data for the review and reporting of Regulatory metrics
Respond to ad hoc business events impacting solvency and liquidity regulatory reporting
Assist with maintaining the firm's ICAAP and participate as a member of the ICAAP committee
Prepare monthly capital requirements reporting packages for internal stakeholders
Assist in exploring technological solutions that will aid in extracting the regulatory reporting data efficiently from the ERP system and work with IT to implement them
Develop recommendations to management on future courses of action in relation to regulatory capital
Collaborate with other teams including legal, compliance, tax, financial planning & analysis, payroll, accounts payable and technology to ensure all monthly close tasks relevant to regulatory reporting have been completed
Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports in response to requests for information by management
Think dynamically, collaboratively, strategically and globally to help the team manage risk, enhance processes and solve problems
Foster strong relationships with various departments across the Firm

Profile/Experience requirements:

University degree
Qualified Accountant designation
Approx. 5-7 years of relevant experience, most recently at either a professional services firm providing Regulatory Reporting support to financial services companies and ideally asset managers or at an Asset Management Firm focusing on Regulatory Reporting
Experience with European reporting requirements & familiarity with minimum capital requirements
Experience and familiarity with the ICAAP document
Familiarity with the ESG reporting TCFD disclosures
Track record of improving processes
Attention to detail and unwavering commitment to getting to the right answer
Experience with internal financial control-based requirements
Highly proactive & organized
Strong data analysis skills/experience
Experience with general ledger systems
Ability to think creatively and critically to solve problems
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite
Understanding of hedge / investment fund structures
Commitment to the highest ethical standards
