What we are looking for:

Reporting to Head of Distribution - Europe & Asia, you will focus on raising capital for a range of top-tier public and private market investment strategies. The focus of the role will be on the Financial Intermediaries Channel across Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Depending on candidate experience there will be some flexibility to extend the geographic coverage.

Your responsibilities:
  • Lead Business development across our focus channel(s) in the defined geographies;
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan to win new business for Fiera from a pre-identified and focussed list of prospective investors;
  • Pro-actively introduce Fiera Capitals investment strategies into the relevant markets via calls/ roadshows / webinars and support the company's long-term sales strategy;
  • Retain and develop Fiera Capitals existing client base in the defined geographies if required or as designated;
  • Work closely with marketing, investment manufacturing and compliance teams to efficiently deliver thought leadership insights to enhance customer relationships;
  • Support the implementation of marketing strategies to achieve sales in accordance with the budget and agreed performance targets;
  • Collaborate with other Distribution team members in the development and implementation of business building strategies;
  • Obtain feedback from the market and ensure best practice knowledge management;
  • Provide local market insights and input on potential new products or business ideas;
  • Deliver regular and upon-request management reporting;
  • Record your activities in Salesforce no later than 1 week after the occurrence;
  • Manage key client accounts in close co-operation with your line manager and other stakeholders such as the Investment Team managing the portfolio(s);
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key competitors and relevant market developments;
  • Build brand identity through the totality of your investor interaction activities;
  • Any adhoc or regular duties/projects requested of you from time to time.


Must have requirements to be successful in this role:
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional prospecting experience in the alternative or traditional investment space is required, ideally with established connections in the region;
  • Strong consultative sales abilities in building relationships and a strong history of raising assets in the DACH region;
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter;
  • Well-developed presentation skills, with the ability to present to small and large groups;
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion with demonstrated track record;
  • Demonstrated team player, self-starter, and independent thinker;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, senior management, and clients;
  • Fluent German and English speaker is required;
  • Open to travelling extensively within Germany to support client engagement and business development.
