Global Investment Bank is currently searching for a Liquidity focused candidate to join their Corporate Treasury RRP Broker Dealer team in London. This is a newly created role and will report to the Recovery and Resolution Planning Lead and will contribute to analysis, modelling and monitoring of Recovery and Resolution planning. This role would suit a liquidity specialist who is looking for a new challenge to gain SME knowledge in a high profile area within the banking industry.

Responsibilities:

- Producing Treasury inputs for Recovery and Resolution plans

- Produce and run playbooks for simulation of resolution plans

- Analysing the impact of new regulations to UK Broker Dealer Recovery and Resolution planning

- Analysing and calculate impact of Solvent Wind Down

- Partner with Legal, Finance Desks, Operations, and other teams across the bank to execute on Recovery and Resolution deliverables

-Preparing materials and participating in governance and regulatory forums or reviews

- Present to forums including ALCO, governance committees and regulatory engagements

- Independently handle ad hoc analyses from management and businesses

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Liquidity Concepts from either a Treasury Liquidity Risk, Management or Reporting background
  • Proven experience from a large investment bank
  • Good knowledge of Recovery and Resolution planning frameworks - preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of Secured Funding Transactions, Derivatives and Prime Finance - preferred but not essential
  • Strong academic background - minimum 2:1 degree
  • Proven process improvement skills

This role involves regular interaction with key stakeholders across the business including Exco level and it is therefore essential that you hold excellent interpersonal skills. The position offers realistic progression to a director role in the future and a hybrid flexible working environment with 2/3 days in the office.
