We are working with a leading European and North American focused infrastructure fund (with over $5 billion of AUM) that is expanding its team in London. They are looking for an Associate Director / Director to play a key role in driving the growth of the funds' investment programme in renewable energy and energy transition and shaping the firm's future strategy in this area. The candidate will have the opportunity to work across all aspects of the investment lifecycle including investment sourcing, evaluation, execution, post-investment oversight and realization with a primary focus on sourcing and securing investment opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leading the full deal process, from origination through to execution
  • Taking a key role in investment sourcing across renewable energy & energy transition
  • Leading communications and building relationships with target company management teams & other external sources
  • Monitoring the existing portfolio and exits
  • Guiding and developing junior team members
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Experience of working in a renewables fund, investment banking, utility or other renewable energy and energy transition focused roles
  • Strong network within the renewable energy and energy transition sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to source and execute transactions
  • Proven leadership ability, initiative, judgement and strong work ethic
  • Fluency in European languages well regarded
