Our client is renowned for producing macro research and sharing economic data with a global audience. As a leader in their field, they are looking to hire a Real Estate Research specialist to lead forecasting and research on Asian real estate. You will be given the autonomy to develop research ideas and help to produce real estate forecasts as part of the company's improved suite of services. You will be looking primarily at Asian markets from a top-down macro perspective, collaborating with the global and regional macro teams will be a central part of your role as well as the ability and willingness to perform deeper dives into individual real estate markets.

This is a newly created role in Singapore, which would suit a Real Estate Research professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience

You are (most likely) currently working for a Real Estate Service Provider either in a Capital Markets Research function or in a local Singapore or even Hong Kong Research team

You will be at the stage in your career where you have excellent academic credentials, combined with a solid commercial / professional grounding, but are keen to hone your skills in a more research focused organisation

You will be more than comfortable compiling data, producing forecasting & investment strategy reports and are excited to offer advice to clients who need specialist Real Estate research support

Key responsibilities for this role are:

Producing Asia real estate research in conjunction with the global team

Oversee Asia real estate forecasts

Oversee the evolution of all real estate products for the APAC region

Writing analytical research and presenting real estate research themes

Interacting with clients/prospects, presenting at client events

You will be expected to take the lead and assume full responsibility as the key point of contact in the region

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years experience of Asian real estate research
Strong track record in forecasting and writing research reports to tight deadlines
Excellent academic training with a degree in real estate economics / Finance / Master's / PhD
