Legal Counsel

Duties:

1.Draft, review, negotiate and comment on various legal documents, and provide professional legal advices and support for business
2.Solid legal document drafting skills with clear logics to undertake daily legal support for business
3.Conduct due diligence and researches for legal related issues
4.Carry out routine legal work, such as reviewing, updating and managing internal policies
5.Manage legal risks generally, including liaison with counterparties, external counsels and other professional parties
6.Reviewing, updating and managing internal policies and procedures, preparing internal reporting materials, assisting in organizing and preparation of training
7.Conducting legal research; and
8.Other ad-hoc legal related duties and assignments as required

Requirements:

1.LLM in Hong Kong or in other commonwealth jurisdictions
2.More than 3 years' experience gained from a reputable law firm or a financial institution / SFC licensed company
3.Solid experience relating to OTC derivatives will be an advantage
4.Self-motivated and pro-active team player with strong problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills
5.Ability to identify issues and work independently
6.Efficient and able to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under time pressure
7.Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin is a must
