Capcora is a Frankfurt based M&A and Corporate Finance boutique specialized on real assets with further offices in Hamburg, Münster and Munich. We are currently increasing our capacity and capabilities in the energy & infrastructure division and look out for new high potential juniors. The position

Based in Frankfurt or Hamburg, you will contribute to the development, structuring and execution of Capcora's mandates in Europe across a variety of projects and processes. Associates will work directly with VPs and Directors and learn from them the necessary M&A tools for the energy & infrastructure sector.

Primary responsibilities
  • Support in the acquisition of new mandates
  • Process management of national and international M&A deals (sell-side and buy-side)
  • Creation of financial models, financial analyses, and company valuations
  • Preparation of pitch presentations, teasers, and investment memorandums
  • Identification of suitable international investors for successful market approach in M&A deals
  • Preparation and support of due diligence processes (virtual data rooms, Q&A)
  • Assisting in research, writing, and proofing of market intelligence for marketing and process materials.
  • Active participation in the (real and virtual) office life of a young company that is always looking to improve quality of its services.

Required skills
  • Strong customer focus and confident demeanor coupled with an outgoing personality.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks under high pressure and maintain a high level of detail orientation and quality.
  • Quick comprehension and superb analytical skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills, ideally with experience in VBA or another programming language.
  • Highly proficient use of Power Point and other MS Office products.
  • Strong communication skills in at least German and English.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience, ideally in the areas of M&A, investment banking, private equity, finance and/or renewable energies
  • Willingness to go the extra mile.
