This well-established boutique firm was established over 10 years ago by a high performing team of senior banking and global markets professionals. Supported by an enviable network they have and continue to deliver strong investment opportunity flow to a growing base of investors. They are well positioned to take advantage of the ever-increasing investor demand for Private Capital opportunities covering Diversified Credit, Private Debt & Equity as well as special purpose scenarios. The Credit Fund has over $500m in FUM and invests in domestic credit, focusing on asset-backed products in both public and private markets.
As a result of continued growth, the client is seeking to add an Associate/Assistant Portfolio Manager to the team, reporting directly to the Fund Manager to assist with managing the more liquid assets in the portfolio (public RMBS and ABS paper). You will also be responsible for risk reporting and analysis on the public deals, assisting with pricing and investment committee reporting, as well as updating and developing external presentations and marketing materials.
Key is the learning and development opportunity to experience a full end-to-end investment process and in time become the Fund Portfolio Manager.
You will possess sound academic credentials in Finance, Accounting or Economics - additional post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded. You will have strong financial analysis skills and experience working with structured credit, asset-backed and/or securitisation products. Importantly, you should have a deep interest or exposure to investment markets, private credit, capital markets, or securitisation. You will be an energetic and motivated team player, intellectually curious with sound communication skills and a credible demeanour. This is a great opportunity to develop your own investor knowledge and client base within this exciting and rapidly growing firm and asset class.
Applicants must have full working rights in place for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
