Role Location: ANZ, New York, United States
Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

As an Associate Director - Research & Analysis FIG (Financial Institutions Group), your focus is on;
  • The production of high quality and fit-for-purpose credit analysis, in particular, providing an analytical financial review as well as evaluating and determining/reviewing the credit structure, product nuances, key terms and conditions in all lending and derivative documentation
  • Product coverage includes all types of fund finance, including subscription line, NAV and hybrid facilities along with the derivatives used by these funds
  • Contribute across end-to-end relationship credit management process covering Origination, Transaction Structuring, Risk Grading, Risk Analysis & Credit Approval, Documentation, Portfolio Monitoring, and Specialised Industry Research
  • Cross-training and mentoring of staff to assist in their self-development
The role also requires strong customer focus with accountability to drive outcomes to meet customer requirements, without compromising bank standards and work in very close collaboration with Relationship Managers. The FIG R&A team are at the forefront of the credit process transformation continually looking to make real change to improve our efficiency and effectiveness.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
  • Proven experience in corporate/institutional banking credit with analytical expertise of asset managers, private equity, and Fund Financing segment from a previous credit analytical role is a strong plus
  • Strong market knowledge of Fund Finance segment
  • Strong knowledge of derivatives and legal documentation (ISDA, CSA)
  • Good understanding of Lending products and legal documentation
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Demonstrate willingness to collaborate across regions and strong customer focus
  • A curious individual with a growth mind set who is always willing to learn and challenge themselves
