About Us

IHS Markit's Automotive division has a great opportunity for a Senior Research and Content Analyst to join its descriptive assets team under the Supply Chain and Technology arm. Your descriptive assets will be published on the subscription based AutoTech Insight platform (

Your Role
  • Research and author highly presentable and in-depth reports, whitepapers on automotive technologies, benchmarking, supply chain dynamics, as well as automaker and supply chain strategies.
  • Data researching and processing, including graph and graphic creation.
  • Organize and deliver podcasts and webinars as a thought leader on automotive technology.
  • Attend client-facing meetings to relay information on written assets and industry innovations.
  • Contribute and help organize motor show and other team-wide written assets.
  • Attend external webinars, events, and investor calls to build strong connections with senior executives at external automotive companies.

About You
  • Journalistic-level English writing, editing, and presentation skills including interviewing.
  • 5-8 years-plus of relevant automotive industry knowledge, ideally B2B automotive
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven teamwork skills, ability to work independently and manage a strong network with senior executives internally and externally.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to deliver projects within deadlines, prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic HTML/website content management.
