The role

Ardian's Real Estate Private Equity team is offering an analyst internship opportunity in the Frankfurt office to assist theTechnical Asset Management Division..

The intern analyst will have significant responsibilities from day one and become an integral part of the team, with high levels of interaction with senior management, external contractors and support functions. High performing previous intern analysts have become permanent hires into the Ardian team.

Key responsibilities for the intern analyst will include:
  • Participation in purchase and sales processes
  • Follow-up of purchase contract obligations
  • Examination and preparation of data rooms in the run-up to sales processes
  • Coordination of property and facility management as well as external consultants
  • Participation in internal and external meetings
  • Participation in property inspections
  • Support in the preparation of contracts
  • Participation in the preparation of reports (e.g. cost and budget tracker, analyses from BP)
  • Evaluation of third party reports and ensuring the specified qualities
  • Pre-check of invoices from external service providers

This list is not exhaustive and will vary depending on the capabilities of the intern and the needs of the team.

Required skills
  • Strong affinity for Technical Asset Management and Real Estate
  • The candidate should possess a broad set of quantitative, qualitative and interpersonal skills, and be a strong team player
  • Intellectual rigor and discipline; ability to organize and perform work efficiently
  • Knowledge of Real Estate valuation techniques, financial modelling, Real Estate KPIs as well as competency in excel, word and powerpoint

Profile
  • Degree either completed or due to complete from a leading business school or university, preferably with an Asset Management / Real Estate focus
  • Commercial understanding of Private Equity
  • At least one previous internship in one of the following areas would be beneficial: Real Estate Transactions, Asset Management, Real Estate Development
  • Fluency in German and English
