Goodman Masson have partnered with a large Financial Services business to assist with their search for an experienced NAV Oversight Specialist for an initial 6-months contract.

The NAV Oversight Specialist will play a key role in a centralised function for NAV oversight across the various company fund ranges. This team will be responsible for operating all NAV oversight checks for the in-scope funds on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis in accordance with the designated NAV Oversight framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help with the establishment of the NAV oversight function
  • Implement agreed oversight checks and make sure procedures and controls are documented
  • Daily review and investigation of highlighted NAV exceptions
  • Maintenance of key relationships such as third-party administrators, Data Management etc
  • Analysis of emerging trends and issues
  • Develop the oversight framework
  • Ensure that all controls and procedures are documented up to date

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Technical experience of the pricing and workings of Investment Funds
  • Previous experience within a NAV oversight function within Financial Services
  • Experience in setting up new processes and procedures
  • Be able to deliver results in a fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience of different assets types and valuation methodologies
