Java Engineer, Prague, up to 130,000czk

My client, an International Europe-based Bank, is looking for a Java Engineer to join its crack Global Funding and Financing team, working on software analysis and development to support other teams in the business across Europe. Developing state-of-the-art application landscapes all over the world, this is a company that works for you just as much as you work for them.

In this role you will be:

• Participating as a developer in an Agile Scrum environment developing new applications and adding to the overall functionality of the business.
• Participating in all stages of the software lifecycle, ensuring high quality and security standards
• Contributing to the transformations of their legacy applications into their Cloud-based tech stack
• Contributing to the upgrade and maintenance of the legacy applications
• Developing new APIs internally and externally using REST & GraphQL

You are expected to have:

• Practical experience with JavaEE, SQL and an understanding of DevOps
• The ability to think laterally, especially when this comes to the automation of tasks
• It is advantageous to have: Experience with Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Oracle, MongoDB as well as Docker, Kubernetes and some Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) experience.
