My client, a well-known Investment Bank, are looking to bring on-board an experienced IT Risk & Cyber Security Project Manager to be responsible for planning, managing, coordinating and reporting on the delivery of a programme of RunThe-Bank IT Risk and Cyber Security initiatives across the Bank
Key responsibilities:
Working with the Workstream leads and SMEs, turning the High-Level objectives into detailed scope and project plans that can be tracked and progress measured
Must haves:
A strong qualified project manager with PMP, APM or PRINCE2 certification or equivalent.

Key responsibilities:
Working with the Workstream leads and SMEs, turning the High-Level objectives into detailed scope and project plans that can be tracked and progress measured
- Defining the key interdependencies within the projects, across multiple projects and the BAU to ensure the plans are clear, achievable with risk and intercedences clear
- Establishing project governance structures for the Key initiatives to ensure clear direction and support is available for the delivery of the projects.
- Work with the Sponsor and the key stakeholders to ensure the key risks and interdependencies are managed and project objectives achieved
- Reporting on the progress of the initiatives to various forums including the IT Risk Committee which is responsible for the Bank's oversight forums for all IT Risk and Control initiatives
- Delivering results by navigating and influencing difficult stakeholders including the busy matrix project teams with various competing demands
Must haves:
A strong qualified project manager with PMP, APM or PRINCE2 certification or equivalent.
- Ability to draw out detailed plans from SMEs with no project management backgrounds.
- Experience of leading IT Governance, Risk and Control and Cyber Security initiatives.
- Understanding of IT and Security processes.
- Understanding of Industry standards and frameworks such as COBIT-19, ITIL and NIST.
