The successful candidate will:
-join the firm's central execution desk in support of a world class team of Portfolio Managers operating across a diverse range of markets/strategies;
-collaborate with Operations, Portfolio Managers, Quants, Research and Technology to continually drive efficiency, improvements and optimization of the Execution Trading function;
-continually develop strong relationships with internal / external trading partners, brokers, counterparties and vendors;
-work with tech team to develop toolkits to analyze data and improve efficiency;
-work with data and able to build sustainable analytics, leveraging skills in Python and/or SQL;
-analyze and evaluate transaction cost data.
The successful candidate will have a background in the following:
-2-3 years' experience in a quant dev/research/strat, market risk, trading, trading assistant or trading technology function;
-Broad understanding of equity, fixed income, FX and associated derivative products (exotics, futures, options). Additional product coverage (ie: commodities, credit) welcome;
-Buy- or sell-side experience will be considered, as will Consulting and Vendor;
-Experience with pre-trade analytics and transaction cost analytics;
-Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (computer science, engineering, math, science or statistics) from a top-tier university; Master's degree preferred;
-Professional designation, ie: CFA preferred;
-Advanced technical toolkit required, ie: programming experience in Python and SQL.
-Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and operational accuracy;
-Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills;
-Passion for the financial markets;
-Knowledge of OMS/EMS and electronic trading platforms and systems;
