Private Equity Firm - Company Data/Valuations Analyst - City of London - Permanent Basis

The Job

This highly regarded Private Equity firm are looking for a data analyst to join their high performing, devoted team on a permanent basis. The company are in an exciting time of company-wide transformational change project replacing their firms systems and processes, and are looking for someone to join their analytical team responsible for analysing and maintaining fund of fund and private equity data of underlying private held companies in our clients' investment portfolios.

Your Responsibilities

You will gain great analytical knowledge by providing data analytics for investment decisions whilst developing advanced Excel and programming skills in the role. You will work with large data sets and use your analytical prowess to understand and conclude on the information, in order to help guide investment decisions for the company. You will join a collaborative working environment which recognises top performers and promotes internal mobility.

Your Experience

You will succeed in this role if you have great analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as an interest in Private Equity. You will the need the Minimum Excel skills include VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables and Formula's with the appetite to develop Macro & VBA skills. You will progress quickly if you can work with large data sets and to tight deadlines, and can communicate your analysis clearly and confidently.
