We are looking for an Advisor Pension Investments to join our team! The Pension Investments team manages Enbridge’s Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension plan assets and in this position you will be involved with portfolio management activities, overseeing public and private market fund investments that spans globally. This role will be instrumental in meeting the operational requirements of managing our investment portfolios.
 

What you will do
 

  • Contribute to the preparation and presentation of communications to the Pension Committee.

  • Assist with the review, approval and execution process for new investments.

  • Monitor, assess and communicate insights on investment portfolio performance.

  • Assist in the review of investment options and fees within our Defined Contribution plans and recommend opportunities to drive additional value for plan participants.

  • Conduct market research and recommend tactical investment positioning strategies to add value.

  • Assist with forecasting and completing daily liquidity activities, manage capital calls, funding contributions, trades and other transactions.

  • Represent Pension Investments on broader pensions related projects.

  • Monitor compliance with investment policy statements and recommend amendments to align with leading practices within the pension industry.

  • Identify and help drive innovation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of this function.

  • Coordinate efforts to maintain compliance with reporting, tax and audit requirements.

  • Maintain relationships with external parties including investment managers, trustees and auditors.
     

Who you are
 

You have the following qualifications and skills:
 

  • A post-secondary Degree (Economics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Business or similar) with at least 4 years of Finance experience.

  • Experience within portfolio management, investments, financial analysis, and/or pension administration is preferred.

  • A CFA charter or active enrollment in the CFA program is an asset.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under time pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong alignment with Enbridge’s values of Safety, Integrity, Respect and Inclusion.
