We're looking for a Finance Data Management Analyst to join our UK Finance team. Working in the Finance Data Management team you will be responsible for maintaining already established processes, forms and templates used in the accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and other modules. You will be expected to maintain a high level of service to users throughout the Schroders Company.

The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.

The team
Finance requires high quality data to ensure that it is able to meet the internal and external reporting requirements of the Group and in order to run a number of industrialised operational Finance processes, including client billing, rebates processing, supplier payments, ledger accounting and cost/ revenue allocations.

The Master Data Management team are part of a broader Finance Data capability and are responsible for maintaining the data on a number of core Finance systems including the Oracle general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable modules, Treasury systems, balance sheet reconciliation tools and client billing applications.

The team are also involved in projects, including the upgrade of the Oracle general ledger and sub modules and the implementation of a new Master Data Management system to improve the management and authorisation of changes to Finance data.

This role will work with other members of the team to ensure Finance data is maintained to the highest standards, participate in projects as required and support the wider Finance data team as opportunities arise.

What you'll do
• Maintenance of Finance systems, including the Oracle general ledger and sub modules, Blackline reconciliation tool, Quartal fee billing system, TM5 treasury system, the teams Share Point pages;
• Setting up new cost centres, regions, entities, control segment codes, accounts, on Oracle;
• Creating suppliers and customers in Oracle applications, and maintaining supplier mapping Smart Forms;
• Administering accounts on Blackline for users and setting up new groups, periods and entities in the system, and producing Blackline KPIs on a monthly basis;
• Maintaining security settings on the TM5 payment system;
• Managing the Finance pages on SharePoint and helping other users to setup new pages and developing improved ways to communicate with the teams customers;
• Maintenance and publishing of the data dictionary, cost centre and revenue centre listings, FX rates and other forms on SharePoint;
• Maintaining forms and procedures;
• Participating in projects and the activities of the wider Finance Data team as opportunities arise;
• Supporting the rollout of a new Master Data Management tool;
• Following a process of constant improvement, looking for ways to improve the service the team provides, strengthening controls and developing more efficient processes.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Previous experience in a static data maintenance roll
• Strong Administration background
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• IT based qualification
