FinTech Manager (Major Bank)

Our client is a major retail and corporate bank in HK. They are looking for a FinTech Manager to drive the Fintech project development and implementation for the bank. The incumbent will be initially responsible for RegTech projects and later on other FinTech projects such as Blockchain, Data and Metaverse.

Responsibilities:

• Organize meetings and collaborate with internal departments and external business partners to drive the fintech project development, implementation and business result delivery
• Source, evaluate, shortlist potential technology solutions to achieve the bank's Fintech adoption goals
• Meet with variety levels of colleague to identify business needs and provide recommendations
• Monitor and maintain the inventory, tracking and managing the complex business projects & pipelines with in an organized manner
• Organize and managing business projects and prepare materials in tight timeline
• Perform due-diligence on the selected partners to ensure project success
• Analyze and consolidate banking risk and compliance rules from regulatory organizations such as HKMA, SFC, etc
• Ensure the projects comply with regulatory requirements and compliance standards
• Analyze investment opportunities in perspectives of business plan, financial model, competitive landscape
• Keep abreast of digital and finance market developments

Requirements:

• Experience in business consultation, IT project management
• Experience in Fintech, Regtech and keen to explore new technologies (Blockchain, Data, Metaverse, etc)
• Experience in finance (VC, PE, M&A), entrepreneurship (startup, incubation)
• Experience in research and data consolidation
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Interested to meet with technology firms, active in exploring new business opportunities
• Proactive, follow-through attitude and good interpersonal skills
• Detailed mind, tracked-record on large-scale project deliverables
