Delivery. Work. Projects.

As a Digital Portfolio Manager we'll rely on you to help keep DWP's enormous portfolio of IT and Tech projects on track.

You'll manage demand, track delivery progress and analyse the success of a portfolio of innovative, essential projects and programmes.

You'll use your knowledge of how projects and people work to steer and guide the delivery process, influencing and engaging with delivery teams and stakeholders.

Ultimately the work you do will assure the successful delivery of projects that will make DWP's services and support easier for millions of people to use.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

* Demonstrable experience in a portfolio management or project management role within a complex Digital or Change environment. * Strong leadership and influencing skills, leveraging strategically built relationships across professional boundaries to lead and influence diverse senior stakeholders. * Experience of integration planning and dependency management including managing complex internal and external dependencies, identifying and removing blockers * Ability to analyse multiple data sets and deliver complex messages with clarity and authenticity, being persuasive when required. * Experience of complex governance regimes, identifying and managing constraints ensuring activities remain aligned to strategic priorities. * A recognised Portfolio or Project Management qualification such as: * ITIL v3 Foundation * Management of Portfolios (Foundation & Practitioner) * Prince2 * MSP Foundation & Practitioner * APM PMQ (formerly APMP) * PMI (Project Management Institute)
