We are working with a world leader in private equity and credit which is now seeking to recruit an experienced ESG professional to join its team.

Working closely with the Head of ESG, you will support the continued development of the ESG function with the objective of protecting and enhancing value at the firm and with each of its portfolio companies, including the integration of ESG factors into the investment process, partnering with the investment teams to help set and meet investment objectives and reporting requirements, aligning them with industry best practices, and driving positive change and value.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting the integration of ESG practices into the investment life cycle
• Reviewing and updating existing ESG policies
• Aggregating and analysing ESG data from companies in the portfolio and working with each company to ensure strong data quality; identifying key trends and presenting to stakeholders
• Support the development of the climate strategy, including carbon foot print assessment and net zero strategy
• Provide direct support to the portfolio companies with respect to their ESG strategies
• Preparation of annual sustainability report

YOUR PROFILE:

• Experience of working within the ESG / Sustainability team within the consulting sector or in-house within the private markets
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Analytical & results focused with ability to use data to highlight trends
• Ability to undertake independent research on emerging topics, industry developments, industry guidance and regulatory developments
