Position Description:

What's the Role?
The HR Associate role requires a high degree of professionalism, organization, and detail orientation, coupled with the ability to multitask and prioritize. This role will execute and provide day to day support to employees and managers in a variety of areas including onboarding, employee engagement, and learning and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support on HR special projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Work closely with HR colleagues to support the business, in order to bring about best practices and ensure consistency in HR support
  • Participate in the coordination and maintenance of accurate employee data in our systems (i.e. Workday)
  • Coordinate resources/support to ensure on-time delivery of projects and programs
  • Partner with HR colleagues to execute business-specific efforts
  • Work collaboratively to improve efficiency and consistently execute HR business processes
  • Provide support for various HR lifecycle activities including, but not limited to, midyear and end of year performance review process, goal setting, etc
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding process
  • Respond to inbound team inquiries via ServiceNow; handle employee questions with timely and accurate responses, trouble shoot and escalate as appropriate
  • Provide thoughtful, accurate and timely information to HR colleagues and employees, managers, and business leaders
  • Provide inquiry-related data and insights on themes to improve the employee experience
  • Collaborate to optimize and automate various HR processes


Position Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • Affinity for technology, ability to think with a "tech mindset," and interest in or knowledge of new HR technologies such as Workday & ServiceNow
  • High level of integrity; ability to handle confidential information ethically, professionally and appropriately
  • Thrives while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency for all requests
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to synthesize complex processes down to simple, actionable steps
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources learning or talent development
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
  • Strong critical thinking skills - ability to exercise judgement and take initiative
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously; displays results orientation
  • Willingness to embrace new HR technologies and changing processes
  • Ability to balance working independently, proactively, and under pressure to meet frequent deadlines, with working collaboratively amongst team members and colleagues
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness to find additional information to better understand issues and topics at hand and uses this information to present thoughtful new ideas

Preferred Qualifications*:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Workday
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
