Support business decision-making by providing financial or statistical analysis that lead to recommended solutions for business issues as appropriate. Provide project support from design through implementation and monitoring. Be the liaison between the business, utility functions, and external parties to accomplish business objectives. This position also incorporates processing, oversight vendors and business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Use data from a variety of sources to analyze complex business issues. Review daily reports to identify issues and work with business partners on resolution. Ensure timely completion of oversight tasks, sending transaction and money movement feed to downstream via SDCM jobs, ensure share out of balances are resolved in timely manner, Ensure timely distribution of dividends and interest by entering distribution rates in the system. Identify issues and/or recommend actions to leadership, support various technical/system changes and projects and represent CMIS in meetings.
  • Maintain multiple relationships across the organization in addition to external parties and clients. Be the main point of contact to answer questions within the business area of expertise. Act as a liaison among the business and utility functions to gather information and share knowledge to ensure initiatives are implemented appropriately.
  • Provide and review reports produced both internally and externally to the company. Ensure accuracy and appropriate report design. Be responsible for resolution to reporting issues as they arise. Run routine or ad hoc reports as requested or as business needs arise.
  • Present results of analysis and/or recommendations to the business, utility partners, and at times external parties. Communicate action plans and priorities to appropriate partners.


Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of relevant industry experience
  • Good understanding of Ameriprise Certificate Company product
  • Good analytical, quantitative & problem-solving skills.
  • Basic accounting and General Ledgers


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively on recommendations and analysis results.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to coordinate and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong Knowledge of MS office tools (excel, access and word)
  • Strong relationship and communication skills in working with colleagues and influencing customers on recommendations and analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of business operations and processes with ability to articulate these processes to others.
