Assistant Controller - Investment Management

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the books and records of 20+ General Partner entities
• Monthly financial statements
• Work with prior and current auditor firms on GAAP Reporting
• Comprehensive monthly financial reporting package
• Highly granular expense and cash budgeting and forecasting
• Detailed segment reporting by strategy, asset class, client and new business analysis/impact
• Multi-year forecasting with sensitivity and scenario analyses (revenues/expenses/cash balances)
• Capital Roll forwards
• Tax allocations

Requirements:

• 7+ years' Corporate Accounting experience with some time in house at an investment firm or hedge fund
• Knowledge of monthly financial statements, multiple entity consolidation, GAAP reporting and some budgeting/forecasting
• Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting

The salary is flexible dependent on experience, but the initial range is total compensation of $200-250k base and bonus combined.
