Summary

Strategic Wealth Partners (SWP) is a 100% employee-owned RIA based in Cleveland, Ohio. We are seeking an experienced equity portfolio manager to join our investment team. This individual must be able to properly communicate our investment offerings to clients and prospects. Our investment team manages separate accounts (SMA’s) for individual and institutional investors. Proprietary strategies include growth, value, and income-oriented disciplines. Relocation to Cleveland, Ohio would be required.

Responsibilities

• Research existing and prospective portfolio holdings
• Analyze and summarize quarterly earnings calls
• Engage with company management as well as conduct calls with analysts and industry experts
• Lead meetings with clients, advisors, and prospects to communicate and explain portfolio performance, positioning, and the SWP investment process
• Manage client portfolios by balancing investment and tax considerations
• Identify and implement enhancements to the current investment process
• Active member of the Investment Committee; contribute to investment decisions regarding security selection, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and key investment themes
• Assist the SWP management team in new business efforts

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in active equity portfolio management/analysis
• Generalist experience covering a variety of industries and market caps, preferred
• Demonstrated alpha versus benchmark(s)
• Ability to work in a team-first, collegial, and results-oriented environment
• Superior verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to conduct dynamic meetings with clients and prospects
• Bachelor’s degree and CFA required
• Proficient in Bloomberg and Excel
