The Trader position is part of a highly talented team of professionals in Pure’s Investment Management department. This position services the investment management needs of our clients, working closely with Pure’s Financial Advisors.

This position is responsible for bringing trades to market and executing orders with minimal market impact. We are looking for a candidate that has a demonstrated track record of both educational and professional achievements and a commitment (and passion) for delivering exceptional service to the Pure’s clients.

Responsibilities: 

  • Review daily activity, reconciling current client activity, funding transfers and the previous day’s activity to ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate & maintain our various software systems (e.g., Tamarac, Astro, Salesforce)
  • Execute same-day transactions for all trade directions submitted by Advisors
  • Run cash reports in advance to fee billing and determine any cash needs as part of the billing process
  • Ensure proper documentation is entered into the CRM (Salesforce) on all trade-related matters and/or other requests
  • Daily Trade and Rebalance, executing trades for client accounts, including equities, fixed income, mutual funds and ETF
  • Implement, manage, and analyze investment strategies for client portfolios, based on the client's investment objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in business, finance, economics, math/statistics, or similar
  • 2-4 years’ experience working in the financial services and/or investment is required (Experience working in a RIA firm or Broker/Dealer environment preferred)
  • Experience with CRM software such as Redtail, Orion, Tamarac, Portfolio Center, Morningstar, eMoney, and/or Salesforce preferred (not required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • CFA® designation (or other professional credentials) desired but not required
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks in an efficient, organized manner, including keen attention to detail
  • Capable of working independently (this position may work autonomously on decision making regarding trading or proposals)
