Compliance Regulatory Policy Analyst

You will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and analysing existing and new regulatory rules and policies
• Regulatory review and advisory of securities products
• Reviewing proposals for changes to regulatory rules to align with global developments.
• Designing regulatory frameworks for new securities products.
• Engaging with industry bodies, government agencies and securities regulators
• Advising capital markets issuers on regulatory obligations

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience (lawyer, auditor, regulator, analyst, product development, capital markets, etc)
• Interest in analysing securities product structures such as bonds (eg asset-backed securities, loan participation notes), ETFs and structured products.
• Knowledge of securities products (structuring, sale, advisory, legal, etc).
• Strong analytical ability and good research skills.
• Intellectual curiosity, interested in capital markets and emerging industry trends (including fintech, blockchain, digital assets, crypto, etc)
• Confidence and first-class communication
• Useful qualifcations: Law degree, CFA (level 1), CPA, etc
