Position Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Compensation Vice President to join our growing team. Reporting to the Global Head of Compensation, you will manage various compensation programs including Commissions, Carry, Voluntary Deferred Compensation, Long term Deferred Compensation, etc. You will be responsible for the strategy, development, design, implementation, administration, communication, and governance of these programs whose participants include the most senior executives of the company. This is a collaborative role that will work cross-functionally with business leadership, Human Resources, Finance, and Legal to ensure compliance and seamless execution of our programs. The ideal candidate has a track record of improving processes/automation, excellent Excel modelling skills, highly organized, experience in vendor management, and a client focused mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Subject matter expert in compensation related programs, using this knowledge to introduce process efficiencies and improvements.
•Stay current on compensation trends and legislation effecting programs to propose changes as needed
•Create and manage communication to participants to increase understanding of programs, value proposition, and PIMCO's Total Reward package.
•Develop and propose new ways of managing program data, creation of analytics, and push of a button reporting through use of Excel, Workday, and Vendor capabilities.
•Effectively manage vendor relationships to maximize capabilities; push the envelope and think outside the box to achieve operational excellence.
•Develop data-driven recommendations focused on improving the application of the various programs.

Position Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS
•BA/BS in related field.
•Financial services experience preferred.
•Experience in compensation related fields a plus: talent mobility, deferred compensation, tax, payroll, HR operations, etc.
•Excel proficiency is required; Access, Workday, and/or compensation related system experience preferred
•7+ years' experience in compensation functions (design and delivery).
•Outstanding analytical, executive engagement and presentation skills.
•Aptitude for balancing multiple priorities with strong organization and prioritization capability.
•Ability and initiative to dive into the details while being capable of having high level discussions with executives
