Description

• Purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day operational support to senior relationship managers, whom shall be free to focus on the delivery of the over-arching business strategy.
• This role also contributes to the promotion of good governance within the department
• Including engagement with KYC/AML tasks related to new account openings and execution of credit facilities in line with internal policy and procedures.
• Finally, the role fulfils a key strand of team succession planning, providing an incubator for potential future relationship managers.

Profile

• Degree level education and/or working toward relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CFA, MCT).
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail is critical.
• Credit / analytical skills, including formal bank training or equivalent.
• Good technical understanding of standard credit documentation, including LMA, ISDA etc.
• Self-motivated and flexible approach is essential, including an ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel under pressure and time constraints.
