Our client is a growing UK based asset owner. This role will work on external manager research and monitoring activities predominantly focused on Equities and Diversifying Strategies. You will have responsibility for a large complex portfolio and the selection and monitoring of external managers of which half is managed through funds. This role requires you to build strong working relationships with both the internal investment team and third-party managers.

About You:

This role requires you to build strong working relationships with both the internal investment team and third-party managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring & new Investment Due Diligence. Support/lead the monitoring of existing investments and selection due diligence on new investments in line with policies and mandate guidelines
- Investment portfolio analysis & reporting. Produce relevant quantitative analysis to supplement the qualitative due diligence process across existing and new investments in the Global Equities and Diversifying Strategies portfolios
- You will support/lead structured interactions with third-party managers and deliver clear, accurate and logical written reports
About You:
- Experience of fund/manager research with a focus on long only Equity strategies. Additional experience in other Diversifying Strategies (hedge funds + other alternatives) may be beneficial
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills - good working knowledge of relevant equity strategy analysis systems an advantage
- Structured and process driven with excellent organisation skills. Ability to prioritise, manage expectations and deliver on time
- Intellectually curious, desire to grow and develop knowledge within equities specifically but also across other asset classes and strategies
- Team player with ability to engage productively both within and outside immediate team to produce results
- Possession of post-graduate qualification or professional accreditation (e.g. MSc, MBA, CFA or equivalent) is an advantage
