The Institutional Consulting Relationship Manager is a senior level position on a Graystone Team responsible for the proactive cultivation and maintenance of institutional client relationships. The Institutional Consulting Relationship Manager will work directly with institutional clients to determine the needs of the client and implement a plan to meet those needs. This senior person develops, implements, and manages various Team processes, in collaboration with the Group Director, required to achieve the team’s overall client relationship strategy.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides leadership and coordination for the development and implementation of client facing processes, such as client onboarding, Graystone discretion, etc.
• Leads team to establish and cultivate relationships with new and existing clients and proactively helps to resolve issues and concerns
• Focuses strategically on client facing procedures
• Independently develops procedures for solving client concerns (logistical, administrative, etc.) and follows through on resolution of client service projects and operational issues
• Ensures effective information between team members
• Coordinates annual Trustee Education process
• Works in collaboration with Group Director to ensure efficient allocation of work functions
• Serves as client contact for problem resolution and fielding general client questions on a spectrum of topics
• Reviews outgoing correspondence and reports for accuracy prior to submission for manager review
• Takes accountability for optimizing client facing business practices while adhering to best business ethics and practices
• Focuses on building strong relationships with corporate departments

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS:
Education and/or Experience
• Minimum of 10 years of post-high school education and/or work experience in a field relevant to the position required
• Advanced degree or professional certification preferred (e.g. former attorney, CPA, extensive background in financial services)
• Active Series 7, 63 and 65 or Series 7 and 66
• Additional product licenses may be required

Knowledge/Skills
• Financial industry and product knowledge
• Knowledge of applicable compliance rules and regulations
• Proficient in applicable software applications
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Evidence of strong leadership skills or previous supervisory experience

• Complex Business Service Officer and a dotted line to the Business Service Manager
